WHEAT, FLOUK AND PULSE. Wheat. —Cargoes are dull, in sympathy with American weakness. Prices declined Od. Two cargoes of 7000 tons (January) sold at 39/ and 38/9. Parcels are stead?. I but there is little trade. New crop U ' quoted at 57/9. Thn spot trade has been cheeked, owing to the higher prices. Australian, eX'Ship, is quoted at 61/6. Flour.—Finn. Australian, ex store, 44/. Oate.—Firm, bnt not very active. Peas and Beans. —Quietly steady. Sugar.—Unchanged. FROZEN MEAT. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London office dated September 18:— Frozen Meat.—New Zealand prime crossbred lamb: Canterbury, heavy Hid, light12id; North Island, heavy. Hid, light Hid. The demand is fair but tbe market is weaker. New Zealand prime crossbred mutton. Canterbury, heavy 7»d, light, Bid; North Island, heavy 7Jd, light B|d. The demand is moderate.
