On resuming, both men ! b showed wonderfnlly fine form, t'rPdstoTich | c specialising in red ball play, and Roberts a in beautiful all-round billiards. The ~> tinal scores were: Fredatovith 20<io. Roberts J i- 1854, the former winning by I4C points. ' c The winner played a solid samp : ' nut, making breaks of 01, 22. 31, ?>2. 3i, ' I 42, 31. 22, 20. 28, 24. 33, 23, and 28. i. average '.*.?.. Roberts gave a wonderfully F fine display, his best effort, 13C, comt prising a great variety of strokes. Other 1 scores from his cue were 21. 29. 30, 80, !- 28, 50. 22. 30. 27. 20, 39. and 31, i- average 10:2. At the conclusion o£ the F -game the players got an ovation. The • president, Mr. C. F. Sanders, in eomplimenta ing ffie-olarers on the fine billiards shown, i. presented E. V. Roberts with ■ gold medal and bar attached, which was given this player for his success in the 1922-23 t championships by the British Association i- and Control Council, London.
