An Exceptional Investment The New Zealand Guarantee Corporation Limited. which operates throughout New Zealand, is increasing its Capital by the issue of 50,000 ordinary shares of £l each at a premium of 1 /-. Recently, 50,000 shares were offered to shareholders at par. These were all applied for within three weeks. The Directors do not anticipate that it will be necessary l to call the shares up beyond 8/- each. Recently a report was submitted to the Directors, stating: I "The business transacted has been profitable and up to I expectations. There have been no losses of any kind." The Corporation was established last year, and completed its first trading period on 31 st August, 1924. 5 The Directors intend to recommend, at the annual meeting of Shareholders to take place this month, the payment, free of income.tax, of a Dividend of 8% on Ordinary „- Capital as well as 7% on the Preference Shares.
