OBITUARY.

MRS. S. EYES. The death occurred of Mrs. Sarah Eyes at the advanced age of 81. She was the daughter of Mr. Ward, of Wolverhampton, and married Mr. Amos Eyes in England. Mrs. Eyes came out to New Zealand sixty years ago by the Golden City. Mr. Eyes, who at" the time of his death was station master of Avondale, predeceased her 23 years ago. She leaves two sons and four daughters, several grand-children, and three great grand-children.
