j TO FORM AN ASSOCIATION. i With the object of promoting a better i understanding among referees of field j sports it was decided last evening, at a ; meeting of delegates from - the Aucki land football referees and the Auek- ! land Hockey Referees' Association, ito form an Auckland Field Sports' AssoI ciation. The meeting was held at the i Y.M.CA-. Mr. Newliold presiding, and it i wa. decided that those present; should I form a committee and draw up rules and j regulations governing the constitution of the body. The association is to be open to nnaD>iiil members of the Rugby Union, Rugby League, Association, and Hockey i Referees' Associations. I The chairman (Mr. New bold) and see- | retary (Mr. T. E. Skinner) were apj pointed a deputation to wait on the I various associations.
