LEVEL CROSSING COLLISION.

TWO MEN INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Thursday. Two men were injured as a result of a collision between an express trayi and a motor lorry at the level crossing near Waipuku this evening. A single man, Joseph Collins, of Stratford, sustained minor injuries and shock and George Godfrey Hastadt, a married man, residing at Hawera, had a leg fractured and received minor injuries and shock. The lorry was caught broadside on by a train travelling at 30 miles an hour. • The vehicle was completely wrecked.
