ORGANISATION AND BUILDINGS
HIGH STATE OF EFFICIENCY.
Tlie new elubrooms of tlie Tramways I .Social and Recreation Club, recently handed over to the employees, formed the subject of a report to the City Council by the Tramways. Water and Electricity Committee last evening. The report stated* that the committee had visited the Epsom Depot and inspected the new buildings, clubhouse, and facilities for the public, and ! for carrying on efficiently the organisa- ! tion dealing with the depot. The com- ! niittee was very favourably impressed, j and considered the whole of the organ- j isation and buildings to be in a liirrh state of efficiency. During the visit the question of Are ' alarm was raised and an impromptu alarm was sounded by the manager of the. tramways. In less than one minute le„d3 of hose were run out and the members of the volunteer brigade, consisting of employees, were at their j respecrvc stations. The committee considered this very satisfactory. j
