Richmond, Richmond. 2 p.m., Mr. • Coulam. SOUTH AUCKLAND LEAGUE. A meeting of the above was held on Monday evening in the League Rooms, Hamilton. Mr. R. T. Hill (Taopirl) was in the chair. Representatives from Ngaruawahia, Huntly, Taupiri. Hamilton, and the Referees' Association were present. The transfer -of a playing member, M. Sherlock, from Ellerslie Club to Orinl Clnh was approved. A letter was received from the League at Manawatu suggesting that a match should be arranged with this league before the end of the season. Wellington Leagne wrote asking for a game, between the two Leagues, suggesting Palmerston North as a suitable place. The letter was deferred. In tbe meeting it was announced that Otago was making great strides in the code, and that they were touring Canterbury and West Coast this season.
