MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby League was ..held last evening, Mr. TV. J. Hanimill presiding. The Canterbury League wrote suggesting' that in the event of the Auckland club i champions being sent south to play Marist Brothers at Christchurch, the tour should he extended to play a match at Dunedin. It was decider! to write to the Southern League regarding terms. The use of t'arlaw Park was granted to the Tost and Telegraph teams for ! practice. I The transfer of M. D. Hamilton from 1 Ellerslle to the Athletic senior team was I granted. Permission was granted to I Athletics to play It. Clark on Saturday providing his transfer from the Kingsland ! Richmond, Richmond. 2 p.m., Mr. • Coulam. SOUTH AUCKLAND LEAGUE. A meeting of the above was held on Monday evening in the League Rooms, Hamilton. Mr. R. T. Hill (Taopirl) was in the chair. Representatives from Ngaruawahia, Huntly, Taupiri. Hamilton, and the Referees' Association were present. The transfer -of a playing member, M. Sherlock, from Ellerslie Club to Orinl Clnh was approved. A letter was received from the League at Manawatu suggesting that a match should be arranged with this league before the end of the season. Wellington Leagne wrote asking for a game, between the two Leagues, suggesting Palmerston North as a suitable place. The letter was deferred. In tbe meeting it was announced that Otago was making great strides in the code, and that they were touring Canterbury and West Coast this season.
