•—« : FALL FROM A VIADUCT. (By Telegraph. Association.) GISBORXE, Tuesday. Aβ a result of a fall from t >. viaduct, - George Henry William?, farmer, of Rakauroa, lost his life to-niaht. As a train was nearing Rakauroa, William 3 stepped off on to the viaduct, but missed his footing and fell 80ft to the road, lie lay there for over an hour, and was then picked up and taken to the store, lie died later. Williams was about 50 yeaxs of age. RETIRED FARMER KILLED. (Bγ Telegraph.—'Press Association.) CHRISTCHUBCH, Tuesday. Henry Woodley, aged 62 years, a married man and a retired farmer, was struck by an engine at Ensor's Road crossing, Opawa, to-night, while walking over the line. He received injuries from which he died on the way to the hospital in an ambulance.
