In the House of Commons, Mr. Kamsay MacDonuld, questioned about his letter as regards the Treaty of Mutual Assistance, said the text of the letter would be published shortly in a White PaperIf discussion were required, opportunity could he seized before the end of the .session. Mr. Samuel lloare asked whether communications to and from the Dominions on the subject would be included in the White Taper. Mr. Mac Donald said he had not considered this. He questioned whether it was desirable, but was willing to do what the House required. Mr. Thomas was subsequently questioned about Canada's inability to get information concerning the Allied Conference. He said the fullest communications had been passing for weeks between His Majesty's Government and the Dominion Government in connection with tlir? Conference. The "Daily Express" states that a sensation was created among supporters o fthc League of Nations owing to the letter written by the Prime Minister (Mr. Kamsay Mac Donald) to Sir Eric Drummond (Secretary-General to the League). The letter said: "It is impossible to lend military aid to any signatory State in cLise of aggression. Britain cannot afford to act as the world's policeman, even if the whistle be blown at Geneva."
