ONE OF THE WAIRAKEI CASES. JUDGMENT FOR MRS. GRIERSON. (Bj Telegraph.—l-ress Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. In the Appeal • Court case of Cleave v. Grierson, appellant lias abandoned the appeal, and the judgment of the Supreme Court in favour of Mrs. Grierson stands. The above was an action by Mrs. Jane S. Grierson for a decree directing Arthur Cleave to specifically perform a contract to sell for or buy from her 2000 fully paid up shares in Wairakci, Ltd., within two years after the allot- ■ mentby the company of 70,000 shares. The case was heard before Mr. Justice Herdman in -November, 1923, and the Court declared that the agreement ought io .be specifically performed, and carried . into execution, and ordered and adjudged accordingly. DECISION RESERVED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The hearing of the ease, Cleave v. YVairakei, Ltd.. in the Appeal Court was finished this morning. Argument dealt with the legality of the commission, or brokerage, paid to Cleave. The Court reserved its decision.
