CLAIM FOR ALIMONY.

UNUSUAL CLAIM. Mrs. D. H. Wille (Mr. Hall Skelton) sued Kristian Wille (Mr. McNab) for £199 10/, based on a deed of covenant dated May 2, 1921. The claim was for arrears. The parties were parted on a decree of nullity of the marriage, although no petition for alimony had been made in the Supreme Court, and Mr. Hall Skelton quoted authorities to show that the deed was enforcible until rescinded by the Supreme Coiirt. Mr. McXab moved for a dismissal on the grounds of want of jurisdiction. The question was argued by both parties on Tuesday afternoon, and reserved judgment was given to-day by Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M., in favour of plaintiff for tho full amount, with costs £13 10/.
