A Consolidated Rate of fourpence and two hundred and forty-five thousandths of a penny (4.245 d) in the pound sterling (£1) upon the ratable value of all ratable property, as appearing in the Valuation Roll for the time being in force in. the Borough of Northcote. such rate being in lieu of the following, viz.: — A General Bate of 2.65-'Sd in the pound; a Separate Kate of 0.39 dln the pound for Hospital and Charitable Aid; a Separate Uate of 0.266(1 in the pound for Street Lighting; an annually recurring Special Uate of 1.04 din the pound for Interest on Water Works Loan (0.362 d required); fin annually recurring Special Kate of 0.434 din the pound for Principal and Interest on a Streets Improvement Loan, £4000 (0-llld required); an annually recurring Special Kate of o.2tid in the pound for Principal and Interest on a Streets Improvement Loan of £2000 . (b) On all lands nnd dwelling houses to which water can be but is not supplied, situate within one bnndrod yards from any part of half of the above' rates. (c) On all buildings other than dwelling houses a rate of one-halt of the rates mentioned in paragraph In) hereof; provided that in all cases where th» supply Is by meter the rate shall not be levied. 3. A Separate Kate for Drainage Loan Interest of sixty-tnrce hundredtbs <if n penny (6.63 d) in the pound (£1) upon tUe ratable value of all ratable property in the Special Rating (Drainage) Area in the Borough of Northcote. 4. A uniform annual Fee In respect- of the cleansing of closets or privies of two pounds (£2) for each pan in each of such closets or privies.
