CHURCH MEETINGS.

ST. PETER'S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. The annual meeting and conversazione of St. Peter's Presbyterian Church, Great Ts'orth Road, was Held In the church. The Key.. Thos. HallWay presided over a. large treasurer's report ehowed a great Improvement on the previous year, the total receipts from all sources being £536 10/ i*. The session clerk reported that the membership, which was 67 two years ago ana ,134 last year, now numbered 174. He hoped for a further Increase this year, ifter reports had been read from the various organisations, a short address was glTeu by the Rev. Lamb-Harvie, dealing with the snlrit necessary for the welfare of the chnr'ch. Anthems were rendered by the choir, and aiter further musical Items tea wae dispensed by the ladies of the congregation. ST. ANDREWS CHURCH. The reports for the year, submitted to the annual meetings of the parishioners of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Cnurcn last evening, Rev. J. Lamb Harvey, presiding, disclosed continued progress In all depnrtments, and an Increase in membership. The work among the young was full of promise. The P.31.M.U. had stimulated interest in missionary arralrs, and the Ladles' Guild had promoted a successful sale of work. Special acknowledgment was mar> of the services of the vocal quartette, arfS of Dr. McDougall at the organ. During the year. £300 bad been raised for improvements, and £200 for reduction of debt. The total income was £1567, leaving a balance in band. Messrs F. Austin. W. Low and A. C. West were elected to tbe manager's court. Musical items were given during the evening, and Rev. W. D. M. Sutherland, of Mt. Albert, delivered an address. Sapper was served by the ladies.
