MAIN HIGHWAY DISTRICTS.
AMENDMENT OF DIVISIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. An amendment of the constitution of main 'highways districts, as recently gazetted, was announced by the chairman of the Main Highways Board, Mr. F. \V. Furkcrt, to-day. The resolution dividing New Zealand into eighteen highways districts is amended by including all town districts not forming part of counties that are situated within their boundaries. The Avondale borough is added to No. 2 (Auckland) highway districts, and the Sumner and Lyttelton boroughs to No. 14 highway district.
