SUPPRESSION OF NAMES.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I should like to draw attention : to the farce that exists in our Courts 5 in suppressing the names pf accused perj sons. Recently we had two nien , charged with, alleged indecent assault on , little girls. One has his name 6upj pressed by order of the Court. His \ counsel, in applying for suppression of . accused's name, stated it would no doubt j have a serious effect on his position if i his name was published. The other fc accused failed to receive that consideral tion from the Court. Now, does one's i position count more than the protection • of little children? Where is the British r fair play we hear so much, about? I fail to see it.—l am, etc., FAUt PLAY.
