LADY DIANA IN DOCK.

COMMITTED ON JEWEL THEFT CHARGE. LONDON, July 6. Lady Diana Hamilton appeared to-day for the third time at the Marylebone Court o na charge of having stolen jewellery from a bedroom. The magistrate announced that in consequence of a communication from the public prosecutor, he could not accede to the application of the prosecutrix to withdraw the case. Tlie lawyer appearing for the prosecutrix said he did not know his position, as he was still instructed not to proceed with the charge. He thereupon letircd. The police are proceeding themselves. Lady Hamilton was committed for trial. Bail was fixed in her own recognisance of £100. Lady Hamilton, who is 26 years of age, is the wife of Sir Archibald Hamilton, Bart., who embraced the Islam faith at the Woking Mosque last j January.
