PEDIGREE JERSEY SALE.
(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) STRATFORD, Wednesday. Newton King, Ltd., conducted a disposal sale of Willowbank pedigree Jerseys on account of Mr. Frank Ranford yesterday afternoon. The sale was well attended, average prices obtained being in the region of 40 jjuinpas for cows, 32 guineas for heifers, and 2S guineas for bulls. Ono of the outstanding cows in the herd, Oanero Lassie, was purchased by Mr. W. H. Richardson for s"i guineas. The bull Onnero Majesty was bought hy Mr. T. H. Cleland, of Hamilton, for GO guineas, which waß the highest price obtained at the sale. Mr. Ranford is one of the best known judges and demonstrators in (he Dominion, and his herd has been line bred for many generations to some of the most famous animals of the breed.
