LOAN FOR MORRINSVILLE.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) MORRINSVILLE, this day. The Mayor (Mr. J. G. Howie) and deputy-Mayor (Mr. J. B. Thomas) have returned from Wellington after an endeavour to raise money for the roading loan of £21,000. They interviewed the Prime Minister, and they state that the arrangements made for the raising of the loan were quite satisfactory, it being anticipated that there will be little difficulty in raising the necessary : money.
