AN APPEAL DISMISSED. LONDON, July 15. The appeal of Abraham Goldenberg against his conviction on a charge of having murdered Mr. W. Hall, formerly manager of the Bordon branch of Lloyds Bank, has been dismissed.—-(A. and N.Z. Cable.) Goldenberg, a young lance-corporal in the army, stole an officer's revolver, killed Mr. Hall in his bank, and got away with money which lie later declared lie wanted for his sjirl, "who is an angel." It was stated'at first that the crime was that of a clever, experienced criminal. The reverse is true. A comrade saw Abrahams secreting the money, the revolver was missed, ad a sergeant-major set a watch on the murderer the day after the crime. Goldenberg was born in England of foreign parents.
