Fleming, who recently returned from his Island trip, is handling a three-year-old Illly by Our Thorpe—Larax. She will take some time to knock into shape. Snowstoe is going very well at Addlngton, and the Australian-bred, pacer will have a lot of admirers ir stripped for the principal events at Addington next month. work at Addington this morning was interesting, the track being in good order. Nelson Bell did not please so well as Red Heather over a mile and a-half, the former breaking when extended. Hypo always held Argus safely in a strongly run mile and a-half. Both horses worked in harness. Don Wild moved very well over a short course, as did Bell Harold. The latter is well forward: Loganwood and Pinevale, separately, cut out two mile tasks in good time. Peter Dean and Mangoutu also went two miles without mistakes. Logan Lou, Escort, Retreat, and a maiden lllly by Logaa Pointer— Bold Maid, set out from the mile ana a- I hair post, and set a solid pace ror the first mile, where Retreat and the nily' were eased up. The other pair continued on, and finished up a mile and a-liair very well. •
