TVAIKATO MARKET ItErORT, Beef.—The demand for prime steer and cow beef continues good but unfinished Is not wanted; a lot ol rough and unfinished" coming forward. Mutton. —There is a tendency for fat sheep to harden, especially prime wether mutton. Store Cattle—There is no improvement in store cattle, small yardings coming torward, due no doubt to the low prices ruling at all the sales. Store Sheep.—There is still a keen demand for all classes, ewes in lamb and hoggets being especially Bought after; also wethers—but not many of the latter are ° Dairy' continue good for any tested herds, also for good spnugins heifers, Jersey and Jersey cross of both, classes being most inquired for. , Pigs.—The yardings have been smaller and prices are very firm for fats and porkers; stores being very dear, the yardinsrs not being sufficient for the demand.
