AMERICAN COIXEGE DEGREES. CONFERRED ON NEW ZEALAND DOCTORS. (By Teiegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The statement is "confirmed that Sir Lindo Ferguson, of Dunedin, and Dr. Carrick Robertson, of Auckland, have been asked to accept an honorary degree from the American College of Surgeons. Only about sixty men hold this degree, British possessors numbering 12. The degree has to be personally received. Sir Lindo Ferguson leaves for America ( at the end of next month.
