Musketoon. Koodoo, Wassail, prince Rufus. Earthshine, Admiral Codrington and others were out. Bustler and Dick jumped five : of the steeplechase fences in the course , proper safely. Boomerday, Royal Fame. I Maunca and En Route started for a school over the hurdles. Royal Fame slipped into I the first, but Roach escaped unhurt, and • later on jumped. En Route did the best, and went a second round by himself. Gnanaco went once round on the inside * of the course proper. Kyoto covered four I fences on the course proper and one on the inside. Kohu, Sturdee and Mahuru went over all five fences well. Oakleigh. alone. gave a good eThth'Hon, as did Carawoct and Sir Bosebery, who went together.
