INTERESTING ADDRESSES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, this day. The Farmers' School continued to-day with an interesting address by Mr. Patterson, on the soils of the Northern Wairoa, showing bow gum lands can be stimulated to prosperous productivity. Mr. Hamlyn lectured on farm drainage, and Mr. Green, manager of Ruakura, on the benefit of hedges and shelter belts. Mr. Lyons, inspector of live stock, gave an interesting demonstration on i stock diseases, a newly-slaughtered bullock being used. Mr. Myers spoke on cattle tick, and Dr. Cockayne on the i feeding of dairy stock. ! •
