DOMINION ORGANISATION. TO CONDUCT EXAMINATIONS. (By Telegraph—-Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A Dominion conference of professional music teachers, attended by sixty delegates, unanimously decided to form a Dominion organisation to embrace all music teachers, and conduct its own examinations, appointing qualified examiners from the Dominion or abroad. j The establishment of scholarships and' of a Conservatorium of Music were also alluded to. Discussion followed on the Registration Bill, drafted for the coming, session Of Parliament. Members referred to the necessity for proper -qualification, but a resolution, "That all teachers now practising be registered and none unregistered be allowed to collect fees?'. was defeated- |
