SCIENTIFIC HAIR AND SKIN TREATMENT.
Mrs. Florence Hullen, C.M.T)., -who has recently returned from an extensive tour of America, England and the Continent, has opened a modern toilet saloon and laboratory at Melvern's Buildings, Karangahape Road. Mrs. Hullen has had many years' experience in scientific and hygenic hair and skin treatment. For sixteen years she was in business in Wellington, nnd became well known throughout the Dominion. Mrs. Hullen studied many beauty methods in America, and has brought to New Zealand the most modern and successful methods of beautifying the hair and skin. She is a student of the ''(.'omaji method" of dermatology, a treatment of the skin discovered and perfected by Dr. Coman. It is claimed for this method that wrinkled, scarred, freckled, and blemished' outer skin of the face and hands can be removed, and a new surface skin of velvety softness made to grow within a period of seven to fourteen days. This is the only method ever officially endorsed by the United States Health Reports Board. Mrs, Hullen keeps for exhibition purposes a glass showcase with evidence of what the "Coman method" can achieve. Not only are there photographs, but the actual surface skins taken from the hands and face of persons treated are shown. Mrs. Hullen has purchased tho exclusive right to practice and teach the "Coman method" in Auckland and New Zealand, and to grant certificates of proficiency and territorial rights. Mrs. Hullen is also the sole proprietress of "Rnsma," a valuable superfluous hair destroyer. It is claimed for this remedy that the hair is removed by the root and after each application tbe growth returns weaker and finer. Mrs. Hullen may be consulted daily from 9 a.m. to 0 p.ra., at Melvern's Building, Karangahape Boad.— (Ad.)
