SU . _, May S. ■ News auric through from Levuka this morning that tin- cutter Adi Navua, owned by Morris Hedstrom, Ltd.. caught fire in Levuka harbour, with 400 cases of kerosene on board. Every assistance was given from the shore, but beyond saving the three Fijian* who acted as her crew, and salving 100 cases of oil, nothing could be done, and the vessel burned down to the water's edge and is a total wreck. The vessel was owned by Morris Hedstrom, Ltd., and insured in the Pacific Company.
