A SILVERDALE RIDING.
Settlers in and around Silverdale, at a small but animated public meeting on Wednesday night, resolved to form a society to have a Silverdale riding of the Waitemata county formed so that in future Silverdale may manage its own affairs; to finish the road metalling from Orewa through Silverdale and Rcdvale to Takapuna and Devonport; to encourage direct trade and traffic with Devonport; to invite regular transport facilities; to .assist the dairying, fruit, poultry and other industries, by regular discussion and by trade assistance; to encourage better farming by lectures and debates, by wholesale buying of manures for top-dressing etc., and generally to create a 6pirit of enterprise, co-operation and goodwill instead of the friction and despair that have hitherto prevailed. It is a mistake to delay treatment for headache, sneezing, running at the nose, and full watery eyes. You should use Nazol freely and persistently, as it will give prompt relief. —(Ad.)
