WAR IN MOROCCO.
SPANIARDS CHECK RIFFS. LONDON, May 12. The Madrid correspondent of the "Daily Express" states that there has been heavy fighting in Morocco since Wednesday. On that day General Aizpuru, leading three columns consisting of 7000 men, made an important attempt to stop a Riff advance which would have made the revietualling of the Spanish position very difficult. The Spaniards dislodged the Kiffe.— (A. and N.Z. Cable,).
