Contributions from Miss Sinclair's pen under her norn de plume of 'Roslyn' , , have appeared from time to time in these ! columns and other local and Dunedin ; newspapers. Although she never travelled ' outside the Auckland province, she had , an Auvmlasian reputation as a poetess I .of no uTean merit. A volume of her j I poems under the title "The Huia's i : Homeland," was published in London | lin 1597, and "Echoing Oars and Other j Verses" by this office In 1903, while j examples of her work appear in several ! collections of Australasian verse.
