A MINISTER WELCOMED.
. I The Rev. Robert Greenwood (newly appointed minister of the Pnpakura Presbyterian church) was tendered an official welcome by the members of the congregation and friends in the Methodist Hall. The chair was taken by the Moderator (Mr. Rosevear, of Papntoetoe) who was supported by Rev. W. C. Wood (Christ Church, Papakura), Rev. J- W. Griffin (Methodist Church, Papakura), Rev. T. McDonald (Presbyterian minister, Clevedon), and Mr. Perkins (Manure wa). Mr. D. Nicholson warmly welcomed Rev. Greenwood on behalf of the Bible c 'ass; Mr. Stewart, on behalf of the Sunday School; and Mr. Robert DowKng, on behalf of the managers and members. The Rev. Greenwood, in reply, said he loped to take a keen interest in the Sunday School and the young people of the church and to work in harmony with his fellow workers for the good of the district. During the course of the evenins; solos were rendered by Mrs. (Dr.) Mcßae. Miss M. Dow (Olevedonl and Miss G. McNTau?hton (Drnrv). also a pianoforte duet by Mrs. Nicholson and Miss McNaughton."
