SCOUT NEWS.
The first parade of the Grey Lynn troops in their new hall was held last Friday evening, and despite the unfavourable weather 62 members answered the roll call. These troops are deeply indebted to the Church of Christ Management T.oard for their kindness in allowing them tlis use of their hall for the troop parades. Next Friduv evening the troop will be re-organ-ised and members of the senior troop are to take up duty as instructors in all test badge work. The senior members are very keen, and all intend working hard for the efficiency of the junior members. At their next Saturday afternoon parade senior and iunior football teams are to be selected. The fortnightly dance of the senior troop is beine held in the Richmond Hall this evening the music is to be supplied by the 'T/winp^tf'unfavourable weather the firstrliss examinations were cancelled last SnS It has been decided that the examinations be held on Saturday, May l<. and in the event of bad weather, the examinations will be conducted in one of the citj ha The Gordon Troop met as usual last Friday evening. The evening wae• fevoted to instruction in tenderfoot and first-class work concluded with organised games. Official word has been received from Dominion headquarters announcing a reduction in the prices of badges. ""•>%* .sure that this will be welcomed by all.
