HOW THE JURYMAN OOT HIS " BAXTER'S.' ,
During the course of a well-known trial in Auckland recently, one of the jurymen developed a cold, and, as the jury had to bo under close supervision, it was not possible for him to purchase a bottle of his favourite specific—Baxter's Lung Preserver—himself. He therefore had to apply to the constable in charge, who in turn asked the sergeant. The proprietor of one of the leading hotels, where the jury had lunch, instructed the hall porter to get a bottle of "Baxter's" from Don Hamilton, the chemist, not many doors away, where the mixture was obtained. Evidently the juryman knew a good tiling, and he was not taking any serious chances with his cold. Baxter's Lung Preserver is the favourite remedy now throughout New Zealand. It is" a fine old preparation, which has been on the market for 08 years, so it is not untried. It also possesses wonderful tonic properties which help to build you up. Be like the juryman!
