The track was in good order. There was a large attendance including her Excellency Lady Jellicoe. Results were:— STEWARDS' HANDICAP, of 550SOVS. One mile. Pretty Man and Tactrm were first out, and entering the back the order was Tactful, Pretty Man, Kinsem, Martian Miss. Nocturne, and Royal Abbey. Pretty Man had taken charge crossing the top, with Tactful and Bright Day almost on terms, and Martian Miss, Royal Abbey, Kinsem and Mustard Pot next. Tretty Man and Tactful were first into the straißht from Bright Day, Martian Miss, Royal Abbey, Kinsem and Mustard Pot. Mustard Pot came through at the distance, and going on, won by a length and a-half from Kinsem, who beat Royal Abbey by a neck. Then came Bright Day, Martian Miss and Pretty Man. Time, 1.39. Desert Glow. Archibald, and Lapidary. Gala Day headed the Held across the top, with •Archibald, Desert Glow, Golden Glass, Glenross, Flniiote, Uralla ana l__pldary next., Gala Day was first into tbe straight from Archibald, Desert Glow, Golden Glass, Gleuross and Lapidary, all of which were handy. A great finish resulted, Golden Glass getting the verdict by a neck from Gleuross. which beat Desert Glow by a head. Daylight was next, followed by Finnote, Lapidary, Passionate and Archibald. Merry Jest was first Into the straight from Lake Uru, Master Doon. Day Guard,' King's Folly, and Qulnette, and in the run home Merry Jeat held her own, winning by two lengths from Master Doon, which beat King's Folly br a neck. Lake Uru was fourth, and then came Day Guard, Princess Ronnie, Jind Qulnette. Time, 1.0. Merry Jest was favourite. AUTUMN STEEPLECHASE, of 550sov_. About three miles. Ditto 0.2. Tom Moore 0.0, Syndicate 9.13, Lady.Bruce 0.0. Gallelo 9.0, Brown Heath 9.0, General Rose 9.0. Hokemai led past the stand from Gallelo, Miss Melva, Glenotua, Syndicate and SUverton. Along the back Gnlleo was ln charge from Hokemai, Silverton, Ditto, Miss Melva and Glenotus, but at the fence at tbe five furong post Gallelo fell. Sil-verton.-then took charge, and led past the stand the second time from Ditto. Hokemai, Miss Melva, Pentagram and Glenotus, Brown Heath losing his Jockey at thi* stone wall. Slverton continued in charge along the back, but at the top of the hill the field had closed up and Glenotus ran to the .front from Silverton, Sea De'il, Pentagram, Ditto, Plttsworth and Starland. Glenotus was first into the straight, and stalling off a challenge by Plttsworth, which came fa»t over the last bit, won by two lengths, with Sea De'il four lengths further back third. Then folowed Pentagram, Explorer, Starland, Esplanade, Luperino. Yonng Thurnham and Tom Moore. Time, 6.5. Starland was favourite. AUTUMN HANDICAP.
