An entry of senior teams from the Mangere and Ellerslie Clubs was accepted. This meant that there would be nine teams in the senior competition. The chairman put forward a scheme whereby the nine teams would compete In tbe first round, and the six leading teams the second round. The remaining three teams could have other matches arranged.
