JAPANESE LOANS.
TOTAL OF -28,500,000. TOKYO, March 30. Tlie Finance Department of the Japanese Government has decided to float loans totalling £28,500,000 during the fiscal year starting on April 1, excluding £7,900,000 carried over. The total of the old and new loans thus authorised is £36,400,000. The items include rehabilitation £20,000,000, economic restoration £5,000,000, and railway rehabilitation £3,500,000.—(A. and N.Z.
