RACE FROM TAUIIAUCN-I. The Dominion Homing Club flew a race from Taumarunui to Auckland on Saturda.v, an airline distance of 145 miles. The weather conditions wove unfavourable. The birus were liberated by the statlonmaster at 9.30, (he winning bird regaining its loft at 1.30. Tbe result was: 11. S. Crocker's r c h Gold Kip, 1040 yds per mm, 1; Mr. L. Cantell's b c c Ituapeliu, 103S.7rds, _; Mr. E. Hipwell's bee Bij Ben. 103_.4yds, 3. Also started: Mr. E. Gillmore's bee Snowball, 1036.4yd5, Mr. C. Bridge's bird, Mr. Brown's bird, Mr. Potter's bird. CORNWALL CLUB. The Cornwall Racing Pigeon Club held its first race of the second series from Huntly ou Saturday, tbe staiioumaster liberating tho birds in heavy rain. Mr. It. Fullertou's Tourist won again. Results are as follows:—R. Fullerton's be h Tourist, 021 yds per minute, 1 ; J. Llneham's m h Furious. _12.Syds, 2; J. Bailey's b c c Roaming, 012.04yd5, 3; C. Preston's b c c Ormonde, 880 yds, 4; R. Tapper's r c h Redwing, 808 yds, 0. The club will hold a race from Te Awamutu next Saturday. PONSONBY CLUB. The Ponsonby Flying Club flew their race on Saturda.v from Huntervi!le, an airline distance of 220 miles. Tbe birds wore liberated by the statlonmaster, and the winner turned up in Mr. V. Barton's r p c Master Doby with a velocity of !)4Syds per minute. Results: V. Barton's r p c Master Doby, 04Syds per minute, 1 ; E. Mayall's b c h Princess Royal, 947vds, 2 ; T.
