The local Rugby Union, in its annual report, urges the restriction of representative fixtures this season, and that none should he undertaken till the club championships are finished. A sum of £SOO was set aside towards a fund for rebuilding the grandstand, which is urgently needed. Owing to a wot winter revenue was considerably affected. A new ground of 13* acres, with four playing areas, has been secured at Lower Hutt. but other grounds offered are much too costly. The committee strongly approved of the proposals for the selection of the All Black team.
