MORRINSVILLE. Wednesday. Advice bas been received by the Morrinsvilie School Committee from "the Education Board that it is proposed to enlarge th* buildings on the new school situ but nu particulars as to what form the additions were to take were siveu. A runaway attended by some remarkable incidents, occurred near the Iviwitahl railway station, when a pair of horses in the loading yard took frisht at an approaching train. The horses, uuo of wbir-h had shakeu off its winkers, careered niadiy a«-ay with the wagon, anil capsized at tlie railway crossing, distributing coal and cans filled with whey in all directions. With one wheel smashed off and the wason ouci' more in an unrizht position, the frightened animals continued iheir headlong dash, aud just missing another vehicle rurned into a sateway with the utmost precision. Following a track, they «-rossod a narrow and somewhat shaky hridL-c with wonderful ; exactness, followed t!ir- roadway up a hill. [ wheeled about, and stopped ou the bridge ; again. Jn a l>owlinp tournament at the Matamata flub defeated llorrinsvlll.by 134 points to 128. Matamata winning four p.imes and Morrinsrille three. Heavy rain threatened this morning, but after a five-minutes drizzle, the rionds passed away, leavinjr thn country as doas ever.
