NEGLIGENT SUPERVISION.
« ACTION AGAINST ENGINEER. COUMSIL AWARDED DAMAGES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MASTERTON, this day. In the Magistrate's Court to-day Mr. Free, S.M., delivered reserved judgment in the case of the Masterton BorDugh Council v. Charles Edward Evans, formerly borough engineer in Masterton, on a claim for £85 10/ damages for illeged negligent supervision of drainige work carried out by a contractor for the Masterton septic tank. His Worship gave judgment for the Borough Council for £70, with costs.
