BUTTERFAT PAYMENTS.
THE MONTH'S ADVANCES. BVTTEB INCREASED ONE PENNY. FURTHER DISTRIBUTION FOR CHEESE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Tlhe payment by the New Zealand Coop. Dairy Company for the coruing month has been fixed at a Id advance for butter, while for cheese, casein and milk powder the payments -will remain the same as those of last month. Mr. W. Goodfellow, managing director of the Xew Zealand Co-op. Dairy Co., said there was no reason to expect any substantial decline in produce values for the remainder of the season. The consumptive demand in Great Britain had shown considerable expansion lately, 'due, no doulbt, to improved industrial conditions. Referring to cheese payments, Mr. Goodfellow said that a furtlier final distribution on last year's output would be made to suppliers of the company at the end of the present month. This sum would represent quite a substantial figure and would vary on the biitterfat basis from one farthing to one penny per lb. This payment was not included in the last balance-sheet and was entirely due to the excellent marketing of the company's produce.
