FIRE IN INVERCARGILL.

• (By Telesraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, this day. Fire broke out in business rrcmises occupied by the Household Supplies Company, in Dec Street, last evening. Smart w-ork by the brigade prevented it spreading to an adjoining shop. The origin of the outbreak is unknown. The 6tock in the shop was severely damaged by water from the story above, where the fire broke out in a room occupied by Mr. James Young, a bachelor. The building is owned by the estate of the late Mr. John Neil, of Dunedin There are insurances ou both building and stock.
