SACRIFICE OF SOCIALISM. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, January 21. The Brussels correspondent of the '"Times" says the Belgian Socialists generally view the prospect of a Labour Ministry in England apprehensively. They have complete confidence in the political principles of the English Socialists, but fear a great part of the programme may be sacrificed to obtain and retain the support of Liberals. The leaders of the Belgian Socialist party consider the moment for seizing the reins of government badly chosen, and are anxious lest the experiment of English Labour, if it fails, should prejudice the Socialist movement in other countries, especially in Belgium, where elections are due in 1925.—("Times.") GERMANY INTERESTED. SIGNIFICANT ALLUSIONS. (Received 12 noon.) BERLIN, January 21.
