DOUBLE MURDER AND SUICIDE.

BRISBANE, January 1

A message from Charlesville reports a murder and suicide at Eddington Station on Saturday. Thomas Fitzgerald, yardman at the station, who was discharged is believed to have entered the room of J. Humble, the overseer, and shot him while he was asleep. Then he shot himself.

The Cloncurry police state that prior to Fitzgerald shooting Humble, he shot dead George Vivian, aged 60 years, near Millia — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
