MINING NEWS.
ZEEHAN CONSOLIDATED. Tbe bulletin of tbe directors of Zeeban Consolidated, Ltd.. just issued, states that the ore mill left Vancouver by the s.s. Niagara on tbe 7th instant, and upon arrival will be shipped to Thames. Tbe directors expect to publish the result of a trial crushing in February. 1924. Arrangements have been made with the Thames School of Mines to set up the mill there and give it a trial run on Zeehan ore, as the mill is a new one on Thames field. MOANATAIARI. During the week the rise was extended ten feet, total 119 feet. Progress was delayed on account of breakdown of compressor for two days. The country is of a much milder description in the hanging wall, and favourable for carrying gold.
