SWIMMING.
PARNELL CHUB'S CARNIVAL. The opening carnival of the Parnell Swimming Club will be held in the Tepid Baths this evening. A large programme Jias been arranged, when includes the first race for the Moss Ballin Cup. TMe trophy, which has been held for the last two years by T. Tuatagaloa, is contested for annually by members of the club. A water-polo match will also be played by teams representing the l'amell and Mount Eden clubs.
