SPAHLINGER TREATMENT.

SIR JAMES ALLEN'S SUPPORT. PROFESSOR'S LACK OF HORSES. APPEAL TO NEW ZEALAND MAYORS. (By Cable.—Prese Association.—Copyright.) (Received 9 a.m.) IX>KDON, December 10. Sir James Allen is annoyed over the dilatorinese of Australian Governments tn offering Professor Spahlinger financial assistance, and intends to inaugurate a campaign to monopolise his serum for New Zealand. He told the "Sun" correspondent that most of the official bodies adopt the attitude that Dr. Spahlinger must deliver the serum before payment.

Dr. Spahlingcr cannot produce ecrum because he has lost all his horses, and is unable to buy others. "I know Dr. Spahlinger received numerous offers to sell the formula for large sums, but he is a humanitarian, not a speculator. I can get money in London from philanthropists. One New. Zealander has promised £500. lam convening a meeting of New Zealanders in London to enable Dr. W. E. Collins, of Wellington, to explain favourable results of his investigations in order to secure financial assistance to obtain Dr. Spahlinger's serum for the benefit of New Zealand. I am also urging the Mayors of New Zealand towns to appeal to the public.—("Sun.")
