BIGGER THAN DEMPSEY.
NEW ASPIRANT FOR TITLE. NEW YORK, December 2. Negotiations for a match between Luis Firpo, the Argentine boxer, and Harry Wills, the negro, have been revived by a cable message from Firpo, asking that the contest be fixed for May 5 next. Firpo has already agreed to fight Wills in Argentina.
The negro's manager, "Paddy" Mullins, said he wanted Wills to fight Jack Dempsey first, but would meet Firpo 60 days later.
Tfew York boxing followers are awaiting with interest the arrival of a new possible aspirant for the world's championship called "Big Munn," from the Middle West. He weighs ITst 121b, and is 6ft tim in height. He has easily defeated all his opponents up to date!
