(By Telegraph- *Prera Annotation.) IXVEJRCARGItiti, Monday. The prolonged spell of dry weather had been causing the Southland farmers some anxiety, the countryside being urgently in need of moisture. Rain which fell last night was fairly general throughout Southland, and it will be of inestimable value to the province.
